Urodzona w 1961 w Szczecinie. Studia w ASP w Gdańsku w latach 1982-1987. Dyplom z malarstwa w pracowni prof. K. Ostrowskiego. Stypendystka Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego (1987, 2002, 2005, 2011), laureatka stypendiów pobytowych: Meklemburskiego Centrum Sztuki Schloss Pluschow, Civitella Ranieri Foundation. Jej prace znajdują się w kolekcjach: Muzeum Narodowego w Gdańsku, Muzeum Narodowego w Szczecinie, Zachęty Sztuki w Szczecinie, Fundacji Signum, Nowego Muzeum Sztuki NOMUS w Gdańsku i wielu kolekcjach prywatnych w kraju i zagranicą. W latach 1988- 2013 pracowała na Wydziale Malarstwa ASP w Gdańsku. Obecnie profesor tytularny. Od 2013 r. pracuje w Akademii Sztuki w Szczecinie, prowadzi IV Pracownię Malarstwa na Wydziale Malarstwa. Mieszka i pracuje w Gdyni i Szczecinie. Tworzy fotografie, instalacje, wideo i malarstwo.

Born in 1961 in Szczecin. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk between 1982 -1987. Diploma in painting at the studio of prof. K. Ostrowski. Scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (1987, 2002, 2005, 2011), a laureate of residence scholarships: at the Mecklenburg Center of Arts Schloss Pluschow, the Civitella Ranieri Foundation. Her works can be found in the collections of the National Museum in Gdańsk, the National Museum in Szczecin, Zachęta Association of Contemporary Arts in Szczecin, the Signum Foundation, the New Museum of Art NOMUS in Gdańsk and many private collections in Poland and abroad. From 1988 until 2013, she worked at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Currently a professor at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, she runs the painting studio at the Faculty of Painting. She lives and works in Gdynia and Szczecin. She creates photography, installations, video, objects and painting.
